Welcome to my blog!

This is my journey into the “new world.”  Although I use technology on a daily basis (would be lost without it), I have just recently delved into the collaborative aspect of using it.  I have had fun playing with MySpace and Facebook to reconnect with long lost friends and setting up a wiki for use in our school.  I have followed blogs in the past, but have never had my own.  Reasons why???? 

 

Week 1; Thing 1

Like the students I teach, the best way to get started with something is having the necessity to do it.  My hopes for this class are to personally use the tools that we will learn and find connections to the curriculum in our school.  My job is to guide, coach, and cheerlead our teachers in the pathway to 21st Century teaching.  My deeper understanding and knowledge will help me to better facilitate our teachers and help them to get excited about the wonderful tools available to them.
